Co-Founder and Principal of Jackson Liles Architecture
Julie Jackson, AIA, LEED AP, is the Co-Founder and Principal of Jackson Liles Architecture, where she leads mission-driven projects ranging from educational and nonprofit facilities to adaptive reuse, food access, and industrial developments across the United States. A licensed architect since 1997, she brings nearly three decades of experience and a people-centered approach to creating resilient, enduring, and impactful environments tailored to each client’s needs.
Julie is the founder of AIA San Francisco’s Women in Architecture community, served several terms as Chair of the AIASF Small Firms Committee, and has mentored more than 35 aspiring architects through JLA’s internship and early-career programs. She currently serves as Assistant Treasurer of the AIA San Francisco Board and Treasurer of the Center for Architecture + Design. Her career began in earnest at age seven, when she launched her first design portfolio: a series of dream barns for her pony in rural Ohio.
