Brenton Smith

Brenton became a Bates Smart Director in 2017. Brenton leads Bates Smart’s award-winning interior design studio. He brings each project’s architecture to the scale of the spaces inside, crafting projects that are known for relaxed elegance, a luxurious use of materials, and clear functionality.

In addition to design work, Brenton is part of the core management team pitching for new work and liaising with the client and project management team to ensure the key project milestones and deliverables are being achieved.

Brenton’s work has been widely published and he is regularly sought after as a contributor to industry publications and design juries.
