Episode 1 showcases four varied examples of spectacular architecture. We go from a celebration of California in a unique home in Manhattan Beach ... to the artful utilization of hand-made in a Little Italy penthouse, to a one of a kind modern Lake House and an innovative learning community designed with the curiosity and creativity of children in mind.

We showcase Rainier Square and an amazing new engineering technology making a big splash in the architectural world. Then Moynihan Train Hall - a spectacular train hall merging the old and the new, the aesthetic and functional. We go to Nashville International Airport to look at the “Garden on the Wall” and finally take a trip to Budapest and gaze upon the magnificent design of the Hungarian State Opera.

Prepare to be wowed by The Liljestrand House, the only intact example of renowned architect Vladimir Ossipoff’s residential work open to the public. We open on the South Coast of Oregon at the Port Orford Seafood Hub and explore an ambitious redevelopment. Next, The Greenwich, one of the tallest residential buildings in New York and an architectural collaboration between the design powerhouses Rafael Viñoly Studio and March and White Design. We then showcase Twisted Ridge Mountain Retreat where poetic architecture sits atop the hills just outside of Hudson, New York. Mike visits Roblox in Silicon Valley to see designing in the Metaverse, Will heads to Portland, Oregon, to visit Trudent who are using 3D Printing for smarter delivery of dentures to patients. Mike dives into the amazing archives in Atlanta at Coca-Cola HQ, we see what’s new and going on at Timberland, and Mike meets up with Italian designer Elena Salmistraro at Ambiente’ in trade show Germany.

We explore the Quito Climber, reimagining the world of outdoor play and we stop and "smell the roses" with Memory Air - an innovation helping to improve memory through smell. Mike travels to Seattle to discover an improved "garden tap" design from Aquor Water Systems. Scott discovers CastleFlexx, an innovation revolutionizing injury prevention and rehab, and, ByDesign goes behind the curtain at Grohe design headquarters in Germany to get a sneak peek at their latest innovation.

We head to Hawaii to meet Manaola, who is working with Ancestral design in Hawaii, Mike discovers the latest in Diabetes management with the Dexcom G7 in San Diego, Scott visits the Cool Hunting studios to find out how to design the ultimate Ferrari, we head to Chicago for the latest innovations coming out of Radio Flyer, and Mike visits Columbia where a company called Konkretus is designing beautiful bathroom sinks inspired by nature.

Porsche and Airstream take us behind the scenes on their collaboration to address the changing world of RV adventure and environmental sustainability. We learn about a cutting-edge approach to brain health and neuroplasticity from the B+Hari team in Hawaii. We feature a Picket Wall Hook from Umbra that will have you questioning whether it’s art or a utility. Then Sara Duffy learns about the simple but important innovation keeping kids from imbibing lead via drinking fountains and Will Hall get to have a play with the game changing new innovation for creatives, media producers and podcasters - the just released RØDEcaster Video.

In the finale episode Will Hall visits the team at Toyota to look at how Stratasys 3D printing is becoming an integral part of mainstream industrial design and manufacturing - even helping to make race car parts with reduced development times, reduced costs and agile flexibility! Then we meet the team behind a project seeking to co-create, and curate shared community resources to address food inequities in the Chicago region - ChiByDesign. Finally, lovers of sleek, modern design will enjoy our story with Ma Ry Kim on the NidoTM Bath - a “made to order” personalised cocoon, transforming bathrooms into a private retreat.
