The LEAD Innovation Studio

The Park Hill School District’s LEAD Innovation Studio reimagines the high school experience by replacing traditional classrooms with flexible, project-based learning environments.
Designed as a cost- and space-efficient alternative to building a full high school, LEAD immerses students in a professional, mentor-supported setting that fosters autonomy, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. Certified LEED Silver, the building minimizes its footprint while maximizing connections to nature, with outdoor classrooms, abundant daylight, and adaptable learning spaces that put student work and collaboration on display. Serving as a model for the district, LEAD has influenced both instructional approaches and facility design across Park Hill schools, proving that intentional flexibility can transform how students learn and engage with their community.
