Storyteller Overland’s Design and Engineering team from day one has sought to transform and reshape the RV space through solving unmet needs in a very dated industry with our adventure vans the Mode 4x4 and Mode LT.

We greet these opportunities by challenging long established norms and conventional thought towards how an RV
should be.

Our team of Designers, Engineers, and Electrical Wizards approach this by targeting specific areas for improvement, conceptualizing and refining potential solutions, and testing prototypes that meet our core standards of quality, durability, serviceability, and value to the user. These areas include but are not limited to pull-tested transformative seating, integrated modular design, sustainable initiatives in materials, intuitive and reliable house electrical and water control systems, legacy support to previous models, exterior accessories, backup emergency power to run your house, as well as a harmony of working and living spaces. Our innovations and solutions are not more than one would need, however, much more than one would expect. Storyteller makes a truly off grid capable vehicle that is both at home in the inner city as well as the secluded and beautiful areas of the US with varying extreme climates and terrain.

Storyteller Overland is an VIA certified member and maintains professional partnerships with Mercedes and Ford in their respective vehicle upfit programs. We have grown from a small company of 7 partners to a team of over 100 employees and have just celebrated our 1000th completed vehicle. The pandemic along with supply shortages has been the largest challenges to date but through our team’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and tech partners there was no shut down. We do, however, maintain a 2 year committed waiting list. We are not stopping here though.

In terms of Innovation and our challenging of “how things should be” vs “what they could be” we have empowered our users to choose their own adventure in their RV experience. From daily driver meets weekend warrior, to users who embrace this lifestyle as full time members and share in our community. Our most valuable Innovation here is giving users the ability to live endlessly and tell better stories. After all, it is not about the van. It is what you do in the van through experiences, the friendships made, and the adventures ahead!
