Harry S. Truman Terminal

DRAW and Wellner Architects were part of a national team of consultants designing the new one-million-square-foot Terminal for The Kansas CityInternational Airport (KCI).

Led by architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), the terminal expands the original 1972 airport’s capacities with 39 new gates,retail space, and outdoor waiting areas. To align with the city’s sustainability goals, the airport obtained LEED Gold certification.
