Nestled in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country, SingleThread is a unique and immersive hospitality experience that seamlessly blends a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, five-room inn, and regenerative farm.
Founded by Chef Kyle and Farmer Katina Connaughton, SingleThread is a deeply personal project inspired by their time in Japan and the English countryside, as well as a shared commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
What sets SingleThread apart is its truly integrated approach, the farm supplies most of the ingredients used in the restaurant, where a highly personalized, multi-course tasting menu reflects the rhythm of the seasons and the terroir of Northern California. Guests of the inn are treated to intimate, detail-rich hospitality that begins before arrival and includes a curated breakfast experience, as well as behind-the-scenes access to the farm and culinary program.
SingleThread’s philosophy is rooted in omotenashi—the Japanese spirit of wholehearted hospitality—and expressed through its elegant design, warm service, and storytelling.
